Fungi will touch almost everything and when they do, they set a new stage. They have their entrances and exits and have many different identities. They purify the water that flows through our watershed, make carbon cycle go around and if it were not for fungi’s ability to hold water, we would see substantially more erosion and flooding.
Take this thought to its furthest extent and, without fungi all the earth would turn into a wasteland of un-recycled material.
Using fungi that work with the roots of plants is a sure fire way to get more yield in farming and faster reforestry. It is also the hero in the fight to create topsoil.
Using Fungi to degrade environmental toxins and control some infectious bacteria is a low tech low cost way to improve our planet and lessen our environmental impact.
