The Mycoguild is a project of United Charitable Programs, a registered 501(c)(3) public charity and was created in 2004 to implement and demonstrate myco-technologies and be a part of collaborative applications when ever possible. We believe that fungi is a vital keystone species in a healthy ecosystem. The creation of topsoil with primary decomposes, using symbiotic fungi in forestry, filtering water through mycelium and the degradation environmental toxins by fungal exudates are of special interest to us but we also like to demonstrate the basics of mushroom cultivation to anyone anywhere.

The Mycoguild has been in existence since 2005 with the goal to help people utilize and understand the role of mushrooms in the ecosystem and in human development. This is our third year at the fair and we are as pleased as ever to be a part of energy park where we can share in the dissemination of fungal knowledge and be a part of a culture where all aspects of the fungal kingdom can be honored.
